My journey to becoming a doula and childbirth educator began with my personal birth experiences, though I didn’t realize it at the time. My birth stories include an emergency c-section, repeat c-section, VBA2C, home births and miscarriages. All those different experiences birthed a passion in me for mothers and their journeys to motherhood. 

 

Britany and I both put an emphasis on education. We want you to know ALL your options so you can choose what is right for your family. Helping our clients become educated, empowered parents is my priority and my joy. 

 

In my “non-doula or teaching” hours you might find me gardening or enjoying my family in our home. I’m blessed to live in my childhood home, which is now named “Lolli & Pop’s house” and often have numerous grandchildren stopping by to visit. Five generations of my family have lived in my home; six of my children were born in the house, and many grandchildren have spent their first days within its walls. I am blessed to be a “mother to mothers” and delight in continuing to serve new parents in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with Doula DFW as a Spinning Babies Parent Educator.
